Cancer Walk

So I did the cancer walk this morning, it was good, I was pretty satisfied with myself(:
I don't know, you know that feeling where even though you're tired, you seriously feel like you're doing something worth being tired for.
A very good friend of mine has cancer, while my other best friend survived it, but my uncle died from it.
I just wanted to show that I did it for you guys, so I don't regret it one moment. To the good friend of mine that does have cancer, I am going to pray for you every day, and you will no doubt survive it, don't you doubt yourself anymore. Plus I'm going to be right there for you anytime you need me, I promise, you can count on me!
Well I realized I think my passion today.
I always tell myself I want to change the world somehow, but I honesty did not know how.
The fact that I hate people being bullied, but I also think the people that just stand on the side, and laugh along because they don't want to also be bullied, are just as bad.
When I see something like that I really feel my stomach turning and I feel sick.
Maybe it's not just coincidence that I feel that way.
Maybe I'm supposed to do something about it.
Recently, I saw the picture of the boy starving in Africa, and kids starving in North Korea, and it really opened my eyes. And I realized that the people in power, and people acting like this isn't the big deal that it is, are really like big bullies!
And the people who know about it but don't do anything are just like the bystanders that I was talking about.
The government people act like they do so much for these kids when in reality they can do SO much more.
And the parents honestly, if you have money to shove McDonalds and whatever else down your kids' throats, then you most definitely have enough to donate at least $5 dollars to these kids.
It would make such a difference.
There is this place called World Vision where you can sponsor children and volunteer for events, anyone could get involved.
Plus, there's something called an AIDS experience that they're doing at Whitter in June.
I think everyone should go, even my friends!(:
"The 65 million people who have either died or will die due to AIDS since the beginning of the pandemic is greater than the number of people killed by the bubonic plaque. That number will only increase unless we respond."
-World Vision
That's so true, and we really should do anything we can to help.
Okay last thing, I am thinking of making a calender, where I use my drawing abilities to draw these injustices of kids starving and dying every day.
Anyone can contribute their artwork, poetry, or even prayers, and I'll gladly scan it in.
Plus it would be great if you donated just $5 to get this started.
After it's finished, I'll send it to the Congressman of Rowland Heights, or someone else with power and make him open his eyes too.
Thanks for reading this guys.
Please help, people are dying every second.
